Young people in the Kyrgyz Republic often have little opportunity to learn about or engage with the environment. Every saturday young people gather for EcoClub to discuss ideas, plan actions, and learn about environment problems and solutions. We invite experts, show movies, and make expeditions to national parks. At our first ecoclub meeting, 25 young people came along and said that they had been looking to join a group like this for years! With so much talent and enthusiasm, we are looking forward to what our volunteers are planning next…!
